Lady Antebellum - Own the Night 2012 World Tour

Popular country pop music trio of Dave Haywood, Charles Kelly and Hillary Scott, more commonly known as “Lady Antebellum” released their itinerary of the second leg of their world tour. The tour titled “Own the Night 2012” has been scheduled to give 57 performances across the United States of America and Canada. This is by far the biggest tour itinerary that the group has done since their launch in 2006. The tour rides on the success of their latest successful album “Own the Night” which has stuck on to the number one position in the Billboard’s top 200 charts.

The album’s second single “Owned the Night” has also received tremendous recognition and critical acclaim. It has been a fairytale success story for Lady Antebellum with two of their previous albums selling more than five million copies. After winning the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards in 2008, the group went on to garner the highly prestigious Grammy award for Best Country Performance. The group also won the Academy of Country Music (ACM) award for Need You Now in the category of “Song of the Year” and “Video of the Year”.

But the best was yet to come for in the year 2010, the group won the American Music Awards for “Best Country Music Group of the Year”. It was to promote their latest album “Own the Night” that Lady Antebellum decided to tour across major cities in US and Canada over the span of six months. The tour is to commence in Tulsa in Oklahoma before travelling through Utah, Dallas, Detroit, Chicago, Edmonton, Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York, Toronto and finally ending at Indianapolis. Country music fans of even small towns of America can rejoice as the itinerary has been so designed that the group can sing to each and every town of America.
