Miranda Lambert - On Fire 2012 Tour

With a momentous year behind her, country singer and song-writer Miranda Lambert heads for a series of concerts across the United States to thump up the volume for her latest November release “Four the Record”. The world tour has been appropriately titled “On Fire” to signify that the Billboard’s “Coolest Girl in Country” is in fact on fire. A string of 16 performances have been listed up on her tour itinerary starting at the BMO Harris Bank Center at Rockford, Illinois on the 12th of January and terminating at the Macon complex in Macon on February 23rd. The Stagecoach festival on the 28th of April is regarded as a special date in the spring after her early 2012 tour in the US ends.

The singer who shot to fame through the 2003 season of Nashville Star had begun her singing career with her first album in 2005 titled “Kerosene”. All the four numbers in the album went on to figure in the Billboard hot country songs chart. 2011 had been a smash buckling year for the country singer with two of her albums creating waves in the country music scene. April brought the curtains down on her pet girl project “Pistol Annies” with Asley Monroe and Angeleena Presley with the single “Hell on Heels” staying at the top of Billboard for a long time. “Baggage claim”, the leading single from her latest and fourth album “Four the Record” was charted at the number 33 position on the Billboard’s hot country songs chart. The single was reported to be the highest debuting single of her career.

The US-Canadian tour is expected to host sold out concerts as it features along with Chris Young from the Revolution tour, Jerrod Niemann as well. Lambert’s band features Aden Bubeck on bass guitar, Chris Kline on keyboards, Alex Weeden on the lead guitar, Scotty Wray on the rhythm guitar/banjo and Keith Zebroski on the drums.
