Roger Waters - The Wall Tour 2012
It’s the news rock music fans have been dying to hear. Yes, the itinerary of the iconic Wall tour, 2012 lead by Pink Floyd fame Roger Waters has finally been listed. The concert would be travelling to cities where it was not able to perform in the previous years and would also be going to places for a repeat performance. The Wall Tour this year is expected to commence in Burswood Dome Arena in Perth, Australia before travelling through Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney and enter New Zealand on the 18th of February in Auckland. The South American leg of the tour starts in Chile on the 2nd of March travelling through Argentina and expected to deliver a cracker of a climax in Sao Paolo, Brazil on the 1st of April.
As promised by Waters in late 2010 that he would like to come back to North America for the second leg of the tour, the itinerary has listed the start of the North American tour in Houston, Texas on the 1st of May, 2012. The concert covers a major portion of US travelling through Oklahoma, California, Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago and New York. The concert would also be crossing into Canada during the leg with performances in Ottawa and Toronto. The tour is expected to finish its North American leg on the 14th of July in Philadelphia.
The Wall Live tour has been regarded by all as one of the most complex rock shows ever performed and features Snowy White, Dave Kilminster and Kipp Lennon apart from Roger Waters leading the vocals. The concert is also the only show where the songs of Pink Floyd are performed in its entirety. The highlight of the show is a 240 foot wide by 35 foot high wall which is constructed and demolished during the show. Some of the much awaited performances in the concert include “Mother”, “Comfortably Numb” and “Outside the Wall”.
